The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Donovan Jackson, the No. 86 name on the board, sitting there at Round 5, Pick 31 like a gift left on the doorstep. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They are betting Barham proves the room right and everyone else wrong. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
