No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Steelers.

The Steelers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 247th overall pick on Thor Griffith a full 63 spots early. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Getting Skattebo where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
