The Rams cashed the board's mistake on Bond: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Rams were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Bond at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With safety, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
