A mixed bag for the Chiefs, and a C+ to match.

Nobody had Sean Martin this high, and it is not close. The Chiefs reached 161 spots to get him at pick 226.

Mafah at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Spending an early pick on safety with tight end, offensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Hit on Devin Neal and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
