Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Reaching for Carlies left real value on the table behind him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Getting Rice where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
