The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and Simon: B+.

The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Cody Simon, the No. 132 name on the board, sitting there at the 225th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Reaching for Covington left real value on the table behind him. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The Perkins Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, tight end and other spots.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
