A costly weekend of dealing drags the Packers to a D. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Packers took Tyler Batty a full 91 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.
Getting Dart where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
