A passer of the future in Ewers, and a D, for the Packers. You build a draft on nights like this. Garrett Nussmeier had no business being available in pick 216, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.
They have staked the next five years on Quinn Ewers, which is the only story that really matters here. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
