Draft Grade — Packers
Overall F
ValueA NeedB TradesF FutureF
Kiser should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a F.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Packers were there to profit. Jack Kiser, the No. 124 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 211. A F, plain and simple.

They will need Silver to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.

Pick Analysis
Pick19 Rnd1 Travis Hunter
In pick 19 they get an island corner, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick20 Rnd1 Will Johnson
In No. 20 they get a lockdown presence outside, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick21 Rnd1 Malaki Starks
In the 21st pick they get an enforcer at safety at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Pick51 Rnd2 Jack Sawyer
Circle this one: Jack Sawyer at the Round 2 slot is a fall that decides a draft. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick52 Rnd2 Tate Ratledge
A reach on Tate Ratledge in pick No. 52; the board had better options right there. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick83 Rnd3 Walter Nolen
A top-tier interior defensive lineman at a bargain, Walter Nolen in slot 83, plain and simple. The roster fit checks out.
Pick115 Rnd4 Jonah Monheim
Jonah Monheim at the 115th overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick116 Rnd4 Ashton Gillotte
Ashton Gillotte at Round 4, Pick 20 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick117 Rnd4 Jamon Dumas-Johnson
Taking Jamon Dumas-Johnson in Round 4, Pick 21 is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick147 Rnd5 Rylie Mills
They robbed the room for Rylie Mills here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick148 Rnd5 J. Michael Sturdivant
You do not let a wide receiver like J. Michael Sturdivant reach the Round 5 slot and blink. They did not. It fills a real need, too.
Pick179 Rnd6 Wyatt Milum
Wyatt Milum in pick No. 179 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick211 Rnd7 Jack Kiser
They barely believed it either: Jack Kiser still on the board at No. 211. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick212 Rnd7 Keeshawn Silver
A wild overpay on Keeshawn Silver in slot 212, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
