It is the swing that defines the weekend: Hayden Hatten in the 245th pick, a good 91 spots before the room expected him.

However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned. The Packers paired the rookies with proven help, Creed Humphrey leading the way.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
