The phones were a trap the Packers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

The Briggs pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. McCormick falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

If Jaylen Wright and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
