Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and Jones: B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Christian Jones slide 36 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Bishop has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Jared Verse
In No. 25 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick41 Rnd2 Cooper Beebe
Cooper Beebe at the Round 2 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick58 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
A quiet steal in Round 2, Pick 26: Edgerrin Cooper for less than the market said. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick88 Rnd3 Mike Sainristil
A slide stopped in pick No. 88, with Mike Sainristil worth more than the price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick91 Rnd3 Cole Bishop
A premium they did not need to pay, Cole Bishop a notch or two before his time. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick126 Rnd4 Isaac Guerendo
They took Isaac Guerendo at par in the 126th pick, which is nothing to complain about. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick169 Rnd5 Christian Jones
Steal is underselling it; Christian Jones at slot 169 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick202 Rnd6 Tip Reiman
You do not let a tight end like Tip Reiman reach the 202nd overall pick and blink. They did not. The roster fit checks out.
Pick219 Rnd6 Jaylan Ford
A tidy bit of business in the 219th pick, where Jaylan Ford graded well above the range. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Pick245 Rnd7 Jalen Sundell
Jalen Sundell at pick No. 245 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick255 Rnd7 Trey Taylor
Trey Taylor at pick 255 is a conviction pick that outran the value. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
