Draft Grade — Packers
Overall A-
ValueB- NeedB TradesA+ FutureA
The Packers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-.

There is reaching, and then there is Trey Taylor at No. 219. The Packers jumped the board by 48 and dared it to prove them wrong. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jones. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Bottom line, with Darius Robinson leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Pick Analysis
Pick41 Rnd2 Darius Robinson
They took Darius Robinson at par in pick 41, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick58 Rnd2 Javon Bullard
Javon Bullard is a better player than No. 58 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick88 Rnd3 Mike Sainristil
Value with a capital V on Mike Sainristil in pick No. 88, a genuine coup. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick91 Rnd3 Javon Foster
They left a pile of value on the table to take Javon Foster this early at slot 91. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick126 Rnd4 Beaux Limmer
They paid sticker price for Beaux Limmer in Round 4, Pick 26, and that is fine. It fills a real need, too.
Pick169 Rnd5 Jarrian Jones
Jarrian Jones at the 169th pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick202 Rnd6 Joe Milton III
A straight-up fair deal on Joe Milton III at the 202nd overall pick, value and slot in agreement. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick219 Rnd6 Trey Taylor
Trey Taylor at slot 219 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick245 Rnd7 Jalen Sundell
Jalen Sundell in the 245th pick is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick255 Rnd7 Miyan Williams
Miyan Williams at pick 255 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
