When a board-topper like JD Bertrand slides to pick No. 245, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The cost of the Bell reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
