The Packers won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B+. Whoever sat across the table from the Packers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.
They are betting Milton III proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Grable at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.
A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
