Draft Grade — Cardinals

Good, not great, for the Cardinals: B-. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
Thomas Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Murphy II. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Brian Thomas Jr.
In the 4th pick they get a go-to option on the outside, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick27
Rnd1
Byron Murphy II
In pick No. 27 they get a run-stuffing presence up front, and a steal at that.
