After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Panthers committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The Gore Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Powers-Johnson at that price is a win they earned.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
