Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Jets, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

Michael Penix Jr. is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The Jacobs pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Jones at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
