The 49ers did not so much draft Tyler Shough as overpay for him, 193 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
