The Steelers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Eugene Asante at the 252nd pick regardless, 29 picks early. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Getting Frazier where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
