A sensible, unshowy class lands the Dolphins a B-.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Dolphins spent the Round 2 slot on Michael Hall Jr., a name the board had a full 27 spots lower. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Dolphins indulged a want in Solomon while a need in quarterback, edge rusher and other spots stayed open. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
