The Bears won the night they stopped Rice from sliding. Grade: B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Brenden Rice at the 141st overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Jackson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
