The Cardinals bled value on every deal, hence the D+. The Cardinals spent real capital to be 110 picks early on Amari Gainer, and the board is going to hold them to it. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board.
Simpson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
