Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureD
Jackson should have been long gone. The Ravens pounced, and earned a B.

The real work happened on the phones. The Ravens fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jackson.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick Analysis
Pick36 Rnd2 Kool-Aid McKinstry
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Kool-Aid McKinstry in the 36th pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick40 Rnd2 Tyler Guyton
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Tyler Guyton at pick 40. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick41 Rnd2 Darius Robinson
By-the-book stuff, Darius Robinson at the 41st overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick62 Rnd2 Malachi Corley
Malachi Corley at Round 2, Pick 30 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick93 Rnd3 Michael Hall Jr.
A slide stopped in slot 93, with Michael Hall Jr. worth more than the price. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick113 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
A cornerback of that caliber at No. 113 is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick130 Rnd4 Trevor Keegan
They went early on Trevor Keegan in Round 4, Pick 30, and the value did not follow. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick139 Rnd5 Justin Eboigbe
Justin Eboigbe in pick No. 139 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick165 Rnd5 Luke McCaffrey
Value with a capital V on Luke McCaffrey in the 165th overall pick, a genuine coup. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick218 Rnd6 Kendall Milton
Kendall Milton slid further than he should have, and pick 218 is lovely value for the running back. It fills a real need, too.
