OHIOSTATEisthebest DRAFTING FOR THEBears
Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a B- weekend for the Bears. The Bears torched the value chart for Josh Proctor, taking him 123 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.
The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
In pick No. 1 they get a go-to option on the outside at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick9
Rnd1
Jayden Daniels
In pick 9 they get a franchise quarterback. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick75
Rnd3
Cade Stover
They paid sticker price for Cade Stover in No. 75, and that is fine. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick122
Rnd4
Josh Proctor
They reached a country mile for Josh Proctor at Round 4, Pick 22, and the board is aghast. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
