If confidence were a draft strategy, the Ravens would have aced it. Amari Gainer at the 248th overall pick is 53 spots clear of where he belonged. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Landing Laube that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
