Start where it matters. The Buccaneers took J.J. McCarthy to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

If Jefferson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Gore Jr.. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
