The Commanders cashed the board's mistake on Martin: A-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how LJ Martin got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at the 187th overall pick. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Reaching for Young left real value on the table behind him. The Tuli Tuipulotu deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Downs, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
