The board owed the Giants one, and it paid up: Dominic Zvada, the No. 95 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 232 like a gift left on the doorstep. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

Wedig has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Tyler Guyton leading the way.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
