Good, not great, for the Patriots: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Drew Kendall in slot 238. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

On value alone, Marks makes the weekend a net positive. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
