Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Rod Moore got past him. The Vikings do not have to explain a thing at the 97th pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Every board in the league had York lower, and that gap is the story. Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The back end got a real overhaul.
