A costly weekend of dealing drags the Texans to a D.

The Texans spent real capital to be 36 picks early on De'Corian Clark, and the board is going to hold them to it. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will answer for taking safety early while offensive lineman and quarterback went begging.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

The Watson steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
