The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The Bears fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Membou has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Hampton pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
