More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B- to prove it.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The 49ers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to offensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most.

They banked enough surplus on Johnson to cover a lot of smaller sins. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
