The Panthers clearly saw something nobody else did in Tyler Batty, taking him 80 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
