The Texans torched the value chart for De'Corian Clark, taking him 36 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Texans had louder needs to answer first.

That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
