Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureB-
The Jaguars won the night they stopped Warren from sliding. Grade: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Jaguars should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Jaguars clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick12 Rnd1 Will Johnson
In pick 12 they get a ballhawk on the outside at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick36 Rnd2 Tyler Warren
The board fumbled Tyler Warren all the way to Round 2, Pick 4, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick70 Rnd3 Cameron Williams
Cameron Williams in slot 70 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick107 Rnd4 Kevin Winston Jr.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Kevin Winston Jr. in pick No. 107. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick126 Rnd4 Joshua Farmer
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Joshua Farmer at No. 126. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick182 Rnd6 Connor Colby
No edge and no loss on Connor Colby in the 182nd pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick194 Rnd6 JJ Pegues
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and JJ Pegues at the 194th pick is the proof. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
