You could see the war room lean forward. Donovan Edwards at the 235th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They are betting Gadsden II proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
