The Bills did not so much draft JT Daniels as overpay for him, 46 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Zinter steal is the beam this whole class leans on. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
