A sensible, unshowy class lands the Jaguars a B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Jaguars reached some 29 spots for Jawhar Jordan, and value like that does not grow back. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Getting Rice where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
