The Texans clearly saw something nobody else did in Julius Welschof, taking him 116 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Benson at that price is a win they earned.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
