Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB+ TradesA- FutureB
No fireworks, just a tidy B+ for the Seahawks.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Seahawks walked out of the weekend still thin at wide receiver, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

On value alone, Hicks makes the weekend a net positive. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Adding Isaiah Likely by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.

Pick Analysis
Pick56 Rnd2 Cooper Beebe
Value with a capital V on Cooper Beebe in pick 56, a genuine coup. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick62 Rnd2 Bralen Trice
Bralen Trice at No. 62 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick67 Rnd3 Kiran Amegadjie
Kiran Amegadjie in Round 3, Pick 3 is fair value, right on his grade. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick81 Rnd3 Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at the Round 3 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick100 Rnd3 Jaden Hicks
The board had Jaden Hicks higher than the 100th pick, and the safety fell to them anyway. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
