The Titans bled value on every deal, hence the D.

There is reaching, and then there is Aaron Lewis at No. 243. The Titans jumped the board by 55 and dared it to prove them wrong. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The veteran additions, Brian Burns chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
