The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Daniels has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

On value alone, Mitchell makes the weekend a net positive. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
