No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Jaguars.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Jaguars took DeMonte Capehart a full 64 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Robinson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker, quarterback and other spots still on the board. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
