This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Troy Franklin, the No. 30 name on the board, stolen at pick 86.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. With interior defensive lineman and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
