More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B to prove it.

There is reaching, and then there is Nohl Williams at Round 3, Pick 26. The Packers jumped the board by 34 and dared it to prove them wrong.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
