Grand theft in the Round 7 slot: the Texans steal Rosemy-Jacksaint and grade out a B.

The Texans spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, the No. 198 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 30. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Hopper reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The Rakestraw Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
