The Panthers cashed the board's mistake on Verse: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jared Verse tumbling to the Panthers in No. 33 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. Adding Zay Jones by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
