When a board-topper like Lathan Ransom slides to slot 214, you do not overthink it, and the Raiders did not. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Howard reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In the end it comes back to Shemar Stewart, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
